Hi! We’re Alex and Barb, the faces behind Enchanterium’s magical doll world.

Our journey started when Barb was born… Just kidding, we didn’t do any doll customizing back then. That’s just when we became sisters. Our doll customizing journey started in summer of 2017, when Barb forced Alex to compliment her sewing with drawing and painting skills (which I never learned because Alex was always better at it).

Before Enchanterium, we didn’t really have a common hobby. We both attended Music School, but with Barb playing violin and Alex playing guitar, but we never played in the same group (violinists had orchestra, and guitarists attended the choir). At some point Alex decided not to continue her musical journey, and soon after that - Barb followed (like she always does - copies me with everything).

Upon stumbling on doll customizing videos on YouTube, Barb fell in love. DIY and crafts were always something she enjoyed and sewing was on the list of skills to learn. Our dad had a sewing machine which he lent me after teaching me the basics. And the rest is histo—- nope, then there was a bunch of convincing Alex to do this.

We began sharing our doll customs on instagram in 2017 and launched our YouTube channel a year later. Since then we have published over 60 YouTube videos (shenaningans included) and overall made nearly 100 custom dolls.
We want to continue working together and we hope you stick around for this adventure into the magical world of Enchanterium.
